Joe Clair & Friends - Views from Backstage

Chandra Gore Consulting had the opportunity to assist with the documentation of the October 1, 2016 Joe Clair and Friends Show. The energy backstage was indescribable and exciting. The house band - Sound of City hit the stage first providing the soundtrack as each comic arrived and begun their rituals of getting ready to hit the stage. Joe Clair, host of Joe Clair Morning Show on WPGC, got the audience ready. Laughin Lenny took the stage and held the audience captive with his comedic styling that kept the punchlines coming.  ZoomVision Media was able to capture the audience reactions/laughter/social media captures as well as the comedians delivering their craft. When Henry Welch took the stage the crowd was hit with nonstop delivery - with one audience member receiving the attention of the "Most Feared Man in Comedy". This show did not miss a beat with laughter. As Joe Clair introduced each comedian he ensured the audience was ready for more laughter. His take on R&B Classics and the unforgettable renditions of Pure Imagination and Oompa Songs paying homage to the late great Gene Wilder gave the audience something to remember. I still find myself singing each of the songs. Lastly, Jay Phillips took the stage - keeping the audience in stitches. During the show there was a show backstage. The nonstop conversations of life, love and business showed the side of comedy that is so few get to see. It is a true brotherhood. Witnessing ZoomVision Media capturing all of the moments rarely seen opened my eyes to the other side of comedy.

At the end of the show I glimpse none other than Steph Lova! The new cohost of The Joe Clair Morning Show so I had to get a picture with her. So glad to have her on the radio in the morning.
